This event was resumed after three years, having been suspended for the past two years due to safety concerns caused by abnormal weather and national circumstances following the Muan Airport disaster. It was organized as an opportunity for citizens to watch the first sunrise of the new year together and to wish for peace and hope in the coming year.
The event began with pre-performances such as a flash mob and a women's choir, creating a lively atmosphere at the venue. At sunrise, citizens welcomed the new year while watching the sun rise. In addition, a "wish-fulfillment drumming" event was held, providing participants with a meaningful experience.
