World's First Indoor Marathon Enabled by "Speed Sync" That Reads User Intent

The treadmill "New Redon" from DRAX, the leading fitness brand in Korea, has been selected as one of the "2025 Excellent Sports Equipment."
This award, organized by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, is a national-level recognition program targeting sports equipment developed by domestic small and medium-sized enterprises. Only 10 products are carefully selected each year through a multi-stage evaluation process that comprehensively assesses technology, practicality, and marketability.
This selection serves as a decisive indicator of DRAX's overwhelming technological competitiveness. As of 2023, there are approximately 126,000 companies in the Korean sports industry, with about 34,000 specializing in sports equipment manufacturing. In a fiercely competitive environment where more than 800 innovative companies generate over 10 billion won in sales, earning the honor reserved for just 10 products demonstrates that DRAX's technological prowess and innovation are consistently validated.
The "New Redon" selected this year is a smart treadmill that reads the user's speed and heart rate in real time and automatically adjusts its speed. Its core technology, "Speed Sync," is a proprietary innovation that DRAX first commercialized globally in 2006, pioneering the market. The sensor detects the user's intent in real time and matches the speed accordingly, enabling a "data-driven immersive training environment" where users can focus solely on their workout without any manual adjustments.
The synergy between hardware and software maximizes user convenience. Equipped with a high-resolution touchscreen based on the Android operating system, users can instantly stream global OTT platforms such as Netflix and YouTube without connecting external devices. This provides a seamless multimedia environment during exercise, helping users stay immersed and achieve their workout goals. Additionally, numerous patented technologies have been applied, including a dual incline system that stabilizes the treadmill during high-speed running and a floating deck that absorbs impact to protect joints, making it suitable for everything from professional high-intensity training to rehabilitation exercises.
The product's reliability and marketability have already been proven. It has received the Korea Sports Goods Quality Certification (KISS) and K-Mark Performance Certification, officially recognizing its quality and safety. Based on this technological strength, it has long established itself as a "global bestseller" in both domestic and international markets. In particular, the floating deck system applied to all DRAX treadmills has been recognized for its outstanding shock absorption during running, and was the first in the Korean fitness industry to be selected as an Excellent Procurement Certified Product by the Public Procurement Service.

The company also plans to accelerate its global market expansion by receiving additional points in overseas market development support projects promoted by the foundation.
