‘Travel Hotspot’ Confirmed... Yangsan City Selected as SRT Magazine’s ‘2026 Visit City’ SRT Magazine Visit City Trophy.

This selection was based on the results of a reader survey conducted by SRT Magazine in September 2025, with 12,160 participants. The magazine's editors and experts comprehensively reviewed the competitiveness of tourism content and future growth potential before making the final decision.

As a result, Yangsan City was chosen as one of the 15 noteworthy '2026 Visit Cities' in next year's tourism trends.

Yangsan City has designated 2026 as the 'Year of Visiting Yangsan' and is gradually expanding its flagship tourism content, focusing on the '12 Scenic Spots of Yangsan,' which encompass the region's natural, historical, and cultural assets such as Tongdosa Temple, Hwangsan Park, and Cheonseongsan Mountain.

The '12 Scenic Spots of Yangsan' are attractions with unique charms in every season, and have become a symbol of Yangsan tourism, offering twelve moments of excitement throughout the year.

Starting in March, Yangsan plans to launch a series of experiential and participatory tourism programs using local characters, beginning with the operation of the 'Mulgeum Station Yangsan Friends Welcome Center,' followed by unique mission games at Hwangsan Park and a mobile stamp tour. These initiatives aim to enhance visitor satisfaction and strengthen Yangsan's image as a city people want to revisit and stay in.

A city official stated, "Being selected as an SRT Magazine Visit City recognizes Yangsan not just as a destination for consuming special attractions, but as a travel destination where everyday life, nature, people, and culture come together. With the 2026 Year of Visiting Yangsan, we will make Yangsan a city that everyone can visit without hesitation and want to return to again."
