This discussion meeting was organized to commend the hard work of case management officers who worked in the field throughout 2025 to address welfare blind spots and to seek more efficient directions for operating the 2026 case adjustment meetings.

Throughout this year, Gwangju City operated case adjustment meetings for a total of 164 households, identifying households in crisis and providing tailored support and connections.

During the meeting, participants shared the intervention processes and adjustment outcomes for major cases, and discussed practical improvement plans focusing on the achievements, limitations, and operational challenges experienced in the field.

In particular, regional officers presented, in succession, the difficulties and rewarding cases they experienced firsthand in the field, sharing vivid voices from case management across both public and private sectors. This served as an opportunity to build consensus among practitioners and further strengthen the foundation for collaboration.

A Gwangju City official stated, "Based on the opinions discussed today, we plan to establish a more field-oriented and effective case adjustment system in 2026," adding, "We will continue to provide institutional and administrative support so that case management officers can take pride in and devote themselves to their work."
