To enhance the execution capabilities of its support divisions, the company reorganized the existing Change and Innovation Support Office into a two-office system consisting of the Management Support Office and the Human Resources Support Office, thereby improving internal operational efficiency.
The company also strengthened its company-wide strategic functions. Under the Planning Department, it established a new Future Strategy Team, which is responsible for artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation (DX), digital asset business, and group data strategy, aiming to establish a foundation for medium- to long-term growth.
In the corporate finance (investment banking, IB) division, the former Structured Investment Finance Headquarters has been subdivided into the Structured Finance Headquarters, Investment Finance Headquarters, and Project Finance Headquarters. In particular, the Structured Finance Headquarters will operate under a two-team system to enhance both profitability and expertise.
The company also reinforced its organization to expand its digital asset business. Under the Digital Support Headquarters, it established a new Digital Planning Department and expanded the Digital Asset Business Team into the Digital Asset Business Department. Through these changes, Kyobo Securities plans to strengthen execution across all aspects of its digital asset business, including tokenized securities (STO) commercialization, infrastructure development, and external partnerships and investment linkages.
In the wealth management division, to better serve high-net-worth (HNW) clients, the company established the 'Premier Gold Daechi Center,' a premium branch reporting directly to the head of the wealth management division.
A Kyobo Securities representative stated, "This organizational restructuring is a measure to enhance execution in key growth areas such as AI, digital assets, IB, and wealth management," adding, "We will continue to advance our business structure centered on future growth sectors to achieve sustainable growth."
