According to the center on December 30, this recruitment aims to enhance the competitiveness of local agriculture and establish a foundation for sustainable growth. The project is designed to disseminate advanced farming technologies and foster competitive professional farmers.

Additionally, by supporting agricultural product processing technologies that respond to market changes, the project seeks to increase the added value of agriculture and nurture resilient and sound agricultural managers, even in rapidly changing agricultural environments.

The main focus of the project is on distributing newly developed technologies from the Rural Development Administration and cultivating agricultural talent. A total budget of 1,346 million won will be allocated across 21 projects.

Specifically, the project areas include: ▲ five projects for fostering young farmers ▲ seven projects for education and farmer organizations ▲ five projects for agricultural product processing ▲ four projects for rural experience and safety.

Eligible applicants are Jeongeup-based farmers and farmer organizations that meet the criteria for each project. Citizens wishing to apply should visit their local township, town, or neighborhood administrative welfare center in person to submit their applications. The application deadline for general fields is January 26, 2026, while the deadline for the young farmer field is January 30, 2026.

For more details, please refer to the latest news bulletin on the city hall website. Once applications are submitted, the final recipients will be selected through a thorough on-site investigation by the responsible department and a fair review by the agricultural industry-academia cooperation review committee.

An official from the Agricultural Technology Center stated, "We expect this pilot project to serve as a catalyst for establishing a sustainable growth foundation for Jeongeup agriculture and revitalizing rural communities," adding, "We ask for the active interest and participation of local farmers to ensure smooth project implementation and successful outcomes."
