This initiative, sponsored by the Korea Electric Power Corporation Busan Ulsan Headquarters, provided significant improvements to living conditions: a new kitchen sink was installed for the household of Mr. Bae, a Vietnam War veteran, and old windows were replaced for the family of Mr. Shin, a descendant of a national patriot.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude, saying, "Thanks to this support, we will be able to spend a warm winter," and added, "We sincerely thank all those who visited and worked hard at the site despite the cold weather."
'Bobi House' is a specialized project jointly promoted by the Korea Electric Power Corporation Busan Ulsan Headquarters and the Busan Regional Veterans Office to improve the residential environment of national merit recipients. It was first launched in October 2007 and has since contributed to creating stable living conditions by renovating and repairing old homes for veterans' families in vulnerable groups.
A representative from the Busan Regional Veterans Office stated, "We will continue to work on improving the residential environment for veterans' families in vulnerable groups through our cooperation with the Korea Electric Power Corporation Busan Ulsan Headquarters."
