Minhyuk Song, 21: "Golf Is My Life and My Everything"

This is Minhyuk Song's unshakable confidence.

Born in 2004 and now 21 years old, Minhyuk Song said, "I've never once regretted playing golf," adding, "Golf is my life and my everything." He explained, "Golf feels similar to a book. If you focus and read it page by page, you gradually feel like you're getting closer to the ending you desire."

Minhyuk Song is in his second year on the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Tour, having debuted in 2024. From his rookie days, he displayed a bold and spirited attitude, boasting a strong mentality uncommon for a newcomer. In 2024, he finished in the top 10 four times out of 19 tournaments and was named Rookie of the Year. This year, he avoided the so-called "second-year slump" as well, finishing in the top 10 seven times in 20 tournaments. His best results of the season were tied for third place at both the SK Telecom Open and the Dong-A Membership Group Open.

This season, he ranked 8th in Genesis Points and 13th in prize money. Compared to last year, he climbed 20 spots in Genesis Points and 18 spots in prize money. Minhyuk Song said, "My goal for 2025 was to finish in the top 10 in Genesis Points and participate in the awards ceremony, and I achieved it. I feel that I have grown as a player."

Minhyuk Song described golf as "my everything, my life." He added, "I will be a player who works hard. Next season, I hope to compete for victory in the championship group," and expressed his determination, saying, "Next year, I want to break into the top three in Genesis Points. Of course, I also want to achieve my first victory."
