KT Millie's Library Sees 2.4x Content Usage Surge After Web Novel Launch... "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" Tops the List Top 5 Popular Webtoon and Web Novel Books of 2025. Provided by KT Millie's Library

According to the "2025 Webtoon and Web Novel Content Year-End Review" data released by the reading platform KT Millie's Library on December 29, content usage has increased by about 2.4 times since the launch of web novel and webtoon services in June and September, respectively. In particular, unlike e-books or audiobooks, web novels showed a relatively balanced gender distribution among users, which is analyzed to have attracted a new user base.

In the Top 5 Most Popular Webtoon and Web Novel Books chosen by subscribers, the Millie-exclusive audio web novel "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" took the top spot. Featuring more than 30 voice actors, this work quickly became a flagship title thanks to its immersive, movie-like production from the moment it was released.

The fantasy web novel "Moonlight Sculptor" ranked second, followed by "Gungno," Millie's original IP, in third place. "Gungno," written by romance author Chumchum, was released simultaneously as a web novel and a webtoon, drawing attention as a successful example of Millie original content. "Tembbal" and "Reincarnated Just Before the 10th Circle" ranked fourth and fifth, respectively.

Among long-running hits, "Gungno," "Cheonryang Yeoljeon," and "Medical Reincarnation" remained at the top in the webtoon category, while "Gungno," "Moonlight Sculptor," and "Returned as a Martial Arts Genius" maintained high rankings in the web novel category. Works with high ratings and reviews included the webtoons "The Future I Saw," "Cat Short Comics," and "Tong Part 1," as well as the web novels "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint," "Lee Seop's Romance," and "Dog Flower Blooms in the Palace."

Lee Myungwoo, Head of the Story Business Division at KT Millie's Library, said, "The consumption of serialized content centered on web novels and webtoons is growing rapidly. We will continue to expand our original IP into various formats, strengthening an environment where reading, listening, and viewing experiences are seamlessly connected."
