Korean Air is carrying out social contribution activities both domestically and internationally to mark the end of the year. The company emphasized its commitment to fulfilling its social responsibility by supporting underprivileged groups in local communities.
On December 29, Korean Air announced that its in-house choir, the KE Choir, held a charity performance for the local community at the senior citizens' center of the Deungchon 1 General Social Welfare Center in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, on December 19. The choir delivered a choral performance with a message of hope for the upcoming New Year and provided sponsorship items to help local seniors spend a warm winter.
The company also conducted overseas volunteer work to improve underdeveloped educational environments. The Korean Air in-house volunteer group, Union Prayer Meeting, carried out activities from December 19 to 26 in Elpitiya, Sri Lanka, to improve the poor local educational environment and to host a Christmas event for children in the area. Elpitiya is an agricultural city located about 100 kilometers from Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. The region is known for its poor learning environment for children and the lack of educational and welfare benefits for vulnerable groups. The Union Prayer Meeting supported the renovation of aging facilities at the local community center and delivered Christmas gifts to the village children.

Korean Air’s 25 in-house volunteer groups continue to engage in volunteer and sharing activities for underprivileged groups, such as child welfare facilities and facilities for people with disabilities, both in Korea and abroad. A Korean Air representative stated, "We will continue to strengthen community solidarity through various volunteer activities and spare no effort in providing ongoing support for neighbors in need."
