This project was operated by having Kibo's regional headquarters nationwide recommend and select participating companies, while the Korea Management Certification Institute, as the entrusted operator, carried out the consulting. In particular, the "R-ESG" model, designed by the Korea Management Certification Institute based on the "K-ESG" indicators developed by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, was applied to systematically assess the ESG level of small and medium-sized enterprises and propose customized improvement plans for each company.

Participating companies received practical management strategy support through two on-site consulting visits, which included: ▲basic ESG education ▲identification and implementation of improvement tasks by sector ▲establishment of mid- to long-term ESG roadmaps. As a result, the average ESG management score, which was 314.7 points out of a possible 2,500 at the preliminary diagnosis stage, improved to an average of 1,224.6 points after consulting, representing an increase of approximately 289%.

In a post-project survey conducted among participating companies, the overall satisfaction score was 4.86 out of 5, and the willingness to recommend the program to other companies was 4.94 out of 5, confirming the effectiveness and tangible impact of the consulting services.

This year, Kibo provided intensive ESG consulting to 56 small and medium-sized venture companies, an expansion from the original plan. Each company received a diagnostic report containing an analysis of strengths and weaknesses by ESG area, as well as improvement plans, enabling them to actively utilize these findings for future management strategy development and ESG management advancement.

Lee Sangchang, Director of Kibo, stated, "We have focused on supporting small and medium-sized companies so that they can incorporate ESG management, which often felt vague, into their actual business operations through education tailored to their level and case-based consulting." He added, "Kibo will continue to provide systematic support to help small and medium-sized venture companies proactively respond to the global ESG regulatory environment."
