On December 30, Samsung Securities announced that it has newly introduced the 'My Pick' screen on the home page of its mobile trading system (MTS), mPOP, which recommends investment content based on personal algorithms.
Through 'My Pick,' Samsung Securities moves away from the traditional approach where customers had to search for the investment information they needed, and instead provides personalized content tailored to each individual.
The main feature is that customers are classified using 64 data points, including age group, product, stocks of interest, and investment preferences, so that different content is provided to each customer. This reduces the need for customers to navigate through multiple menus to find investment information as before. The mPOP home screen is designed so that users can immediately access 'investment insights tailored for me.'
On the My Pick screen, users can check at a glance: ▲ a summary of recently viewed stocks and market conditions ▲ today's investment information content ▲ the latest analyst research reports related to held stocks ▲ recent trading logs ▲ and a must-know investment information series. This allows users to track market trends, review held stocks, and check individual buy/sell records, providing the entire investment process in a single, connected flow.
Samsung Securities emphasized that this update marks an evolution from the previous 'exploratory content' model to an experience centered on 'customer-specific curation.' The company explained that investment information accessibility and convenience have been significantly enhanced, as customers can now instantly access personalized content reflecting their investment patterns, asset composition, and changes in held stocks, without having to worry about what to look for.
A Samsung Securities representative stated, "We will continue to advance our digital-based personalized services to provide customers with a more intuitive and efficient investment environment."
