Showcasing Innovative Technologies and Products

The Daegu Metropolitan Government announced on December 28 that six local AI startups will participate in CES 2026 (Consumer Electronics Show 2026), which will be held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 6 to 9 next year, to showcase their innovative technologies.

Since its inception in New York in 1967, CES has established itself as the world's largest exhibition, unveiling innovative IT and home appliances every year. CES 2026, under the theme "Innovators Show Up," will feature a wide array of AI-based products across diverse industries, including robotics, mobility, and healthcare, going beyond smartphones and home appliances.

In July, the Daegu Metropolitan Government selected six AI startups with global market potential and technological capabilities through an open call. These companies will present their technologies and products at "Eureka Park," where the world's most innovative startups gather at CES.

In particular, Ilman Baekman (CEO Kim Yuseok), a company specializing in AI-based video production solutions, has been recognized for its technological prowess by winning the "CES Innovator Award" at both CES 2025 and CES 2026. At this exhibition, the company plans to showcase even more innovative technologies at the C-Lab booth operated by Samsung Electronics.

Additionally, five other companies-Axion Labs Co., Ltd. (AI and robotics technology system development), MAIT Co., Ltd. (AI-based musculoskeletal diagnostic support solutions), Rumpleer Co., Ltd. (lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries), AICU Co., Ltd. (AI-based healthcare), and AIGement Co., Ltd. (AI-based business management solutions)-will participate in the "CES Korea Pavilion" organized by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). They will receive various forms of support, including local marketing, business consultations, and networking opportunities, laying the foundation for their global expansion.

Jung Hyunju, Director of Startup and Venture Innovation at the Daegu Metropolitan Government, said, "We will further strengthen our tailored support to actively discover local startups with global competitiveness so that they can achieve continuous growth in the global market."
