[Weather for Tomorrow] Cloudy Nationwide on Sunday with Rain and Snow in Central Regions: 'Winter Precipitation' Expected Yonhap News

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, rain will begin in the central regions in the afternoon and is expected to expand to areas such as North Jeolla and North Gyeongsang. In the early morning hours, less than 0.1 cm of snow may fall in some areas of South Chungcheong, northern North Jeolla, and the northwestern inland of South Gyeongsang, so drivers should be especially cautious of icy roads.

Tomorrow's expected snowfall is 3 to 8 cm in the mountainous areas of Gangwon, 2 to 7 cm in the northern inland of Gangwon, and 1 to 3 cm in the northeastern part of Gyeonggi. If it falls as rain, the expected precipitation nationwide will be around 5 mm, which is not much, but in many areas, rain and snow will be mixed depending on the temperature.

Morning lows are forecast to range from -7 to 2 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 2 to 12 degrees Celsius. Until the 29th, temperatures are expected to remain slightly higher than the seasonal averages (lows of -11 to 1 degrees, highs of 1 to 9 degrees), so no severe cold is expected.

Waves on the sea will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters high in the East Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West and South Sea nearshore. In offshore areas, wave heights are expected to reach up to 2.5 meters in the East Sea and up to 1.5 meters in the West and South Sea.
