A Gift of Christmas Excitement
It was not carols, but electronic music that shook the quiet night of the island.
On December 25, 2025, Ulleung County in North Gyeongsang Province held a special Christmas event for children and teenagers, the "Woolsmas Holiday EDM Event," at the multipurpose hall of the Ulleung County Youth Center.
This event was organized to create warm memories for children and teenagers during the year-end season. The venue, decorated in a festive Christmas atmosphere, was filled with sparkling trees and lively music, creating a vibrant and energetic mood.
In particular, on the day of the event, white snow fell outside the venue, adding to the excitement of Christmas.
Inside the venue, various Christmas-themed experience booths and warm food booths were operated. Snacks and drinks were shared with children who visited on the snowy day, and a cozy space was provided where friends and families could gather and chat, which was met with enthusiastic response.
The highlight of the event was the EDM performance led by DJ SEFO. DJ SEFO, a professional DJ specializing in cultural performances for children and teenagers with experience in operating a children's club and over 1,000 performances, energized the atmosphere with lively music including K-POP during the show.
A teenager who participated in the event said, "It was truly special to enjoy a DJ performance on a snowy Christmas," adding, "I was so happy that such a performance was held on Ulleungdo."
