Establishing Infertility Leave and Reduced Working Hours During Pregnancy

Acuon Savings Bank announced on December 26 that it has been selected as a "2025 Family-Friendly Certified Company" by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
The company explained that this certification is a result of its effective implementation of work-life balance systems, as well as support for childbirth and childcare.
The Family-Friendly Certification System is a program that reviews and certifies companies and public institutions that operate exemplary family-friendly policies, in accordance with Article 15 of the Act on the Promotion of the Creation of Family-Friendly Social Environment.
To receive certification, organizations must score at least 70 out of 100 points, including a minimum of 5 points in the top management leadership category and at least 35 points in the implementation of family-friendly systems category.
This year, 1,096 organizations received new certifications, and Acuon Savings Bank scored 92.1 points, surpassing the overall average of 80.7 points among all certified companies.
Acuon Savings Bank was recognized for its stable operation of various family-friendly policies, such as infertility leave, reduced working hours during pregnancy, maternity leave, and parental leave.
In particular, employees are eligible for an additional year of parental leave when their child enters elementary school, and both the return-to-work rate and employment retention rate after parental leave remain stable.
Additionally, the company supports employees' work-life balance through the establishment of a regular working hours culture, flexible working hours, two-hour short leave, and annual leave encouragement programs.
