The topics of his lectures are diverse, ranging from literature, history, art, and music to the environment and leadership. This year as well, he gave more than 20 special lectures at the request of companies, hospitals, and universities.

On the 24th, Mayor Lee donated 3,130,400 won, which he received as lecture fees from external lectures this year, to the "Yongin Love Train Relay Campaign." Most of these lectures were provided free of charge as talent donations, but he returned the portion of the lecture fees he did receive to the local community.
Mayor Lee has continued to donate his lecture fees for four consecutive years since taking office in 2022. He explained that he wishes to share the value of knowledge and culture gained through special lectures with citizens. In his first year in office, he donated 1,640,000 won, followed by 2,553,600 won in 2023, and 2,674,400 won last year.
Separately, on the 12th of this month, Mayor Lee personally donated 10 million won to the Yongin Scholarship Foundation to support the development of local talent.
He said, "I have always had an interest in literature, history, the humanities, art, music, environment, and leadership, and I have studied these fields whenever I could. With the mindset of 'learn and share,' I have always tried to share my knowledge and thoughts whenever I receive a request for a special lecture."
Mayor Lee stated, "Love is about building a bridge between your heart and mine and sharing warmth. Whether big or small, I continue to make donations to deliver the warmth in my heart to those in difficult circumstances."
The "Yongin Love Train Relay Campaign" is a fundraising initiative in which citizens, businesses, and organizations participate together to help neighbors in need. The campaign's main fundraising period runs from December 1 of this year to February 6 of next year. The city has set this year’s fundraising target at 1.4 billion won, an increase of 100 million won from last year, and is actively promoting the campaign.
