Alongside the CEOs of Paramount and YouTube
Mikyung Lee, Vice Chairman of CJ Group, has been named one of the 120 most influential figures in the global entertainment industry.
On December 23 (local time), the U.S. entertainment magazine Variety announced its list of “120 Most Influential Executives in the Entertainment Industry” to mark its 120th anniversary.
Vice Chairman Lee was listed alongside David Ellison, CEO of Paramount Skydance, and Neal Mohan, CEO of YouTube.
Variety praised her for “overseeing CJ Group’s entire entertainment business, including film, TV, music, and live events, and building a global content infrastructure.” The magazine also noted, “Through long-term investments and partnerships, she has served as a bridge connecting Korean creators and Hollywood studios.”
Vice Chairman Lee has received several honors, including the International Emmy Directorate Award in 2022, the Order of Cultural Merit (Geumgwan) of Korea in 2023, and the World Citizen Award in the United States in 2024.
