Jeonbuk Province Selects Three Outstanding Civil Service Employees for the Second Half of the Year

Kim Jiyeong, Hong Yeona, and Kim Daeyeon Receive Awards

On December 24, Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province held the '2025 Second Half Outstanding Civil Service Employee Awards and Meeting' to commend employees who received high evaluations for their prompt and diligent handling of civil service work.

In this civil service processing mileage evaluation, three employees were selected: Kim Jiyeong, an official in the Livestock Division responsible for registration and modification of feed ingredients, received the top award; Hong Yeona, an official in the Autonomous Administration Division in charge of reissuing caregiver certificates, received the excellence award; and Kim Daeyeon, an official in the Administrative Information Division responsible for reporting the status of information and communication construction supervisors, received the encouragement award.

The civil service processing mileage system grants points based on how much earlier a civil service task, which has a statutory processing period of two days or more, is completed before the deadline, as well as the number of cases processed. The faster the processing, the more mileage is accumulated, which encourages prompt resolution of civil service requests and helps reduce inconvenience for residents.

For the second half of the year, the results showed a reduction rate of 65.1% and a processing rate of 98.4%. The system is expected to improve negative perceptions about civil service work.

During the subsequent meeting, participants shared difficulties and areas for improvement in the field of civil service work and discussed practical measures to provide better administrative services.

Kim Kwan-young, Governor of Jeonbuk Province, said, "You have made significant contributions by resolving complex and diverse civil petitions quickly and enhancing public trust in administration. I ask that you always maintain your initial commitment, prioritize communication with residents as your most important work, and approach civil service requests from the residents' perspective."
