"Signal Redux Edition" Physical Release Set for February Next Year
Neowiz announced on December 24 that the Nintendo Switch version of the 2D action platformer game "SANABI Gaiden: The Day Possessed by a Ghost" will be officially released worldwide on January 15 next year.
Developed by Wonder Potion, "SANABI Gaiden: The Day Possessed by a Ghost" is a prequel to the main game "SANABI." The story takes the protagonist, Major Song, back to the past when he first encounters Brigadier General and uncovers secrets hidden in a robot scrapyard. Any Nintendo Switch user can enjoy the digital download version for free.
The physical Nintendo package, "Signal Redux Edition," which bundles both the main game and the gaiden, will also be released in February next year. Starting today, pre-orders are available through Naver Store, Shinsegae I&C, and Soprano. All pre-order customers will receive a specially made acrylic stand as a bonus.
Additionally, through Steam, a discount event will be held until January 5 next year, offering 35% off "SANABI" and 10% off the "SANABI Soundtrack." As both the main game and the gaiden have maintained an "overwhelmingly positive" rating on Steam, Neowiz expects this sale to attract significant interest from global gamers.
A Neowiz representative stated, "With the release of the Nintendo Switch version, we are enhancing the value of the 'SANABI' intellectual property (IP), and more users will be able to experience the expanded story of SANABI. We also hope the physical package will serve as a meaningful gift for fans."
