Siheung City Wins Excellence Award at 'Manifesto Cultural Policy Concerto'

Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 24th that it received the Excellence Award in the field of cultural activity revitalization at the '2025 National Basic Local Government Heads Manifesto Cultural Policy Concerto,' which was held by the Korea Manifesto Implementation Headquarters at Sangji University over two days from the 22nd to the 23rd.

This event, held for the first time this year, is an exemplary case competition designed to provide a platform for sharing, learning, and disseminating outstanding cultural policy projects in order to realize cultural autonomy, cultural democracy, and urban vitality.

At the event, Siheung City received the Excellence Award for its 'Customized Future Culture and Arts Talent Development--Growth--Independence System by Field' program for youth and adolescents. This policy not only supports the expansion of experiences and career development for young artists, but also enhances the effectiveness of the initiative by providing customized policies and programs through systematic management of young culture and arts professionals.
