Nonghyup Bank Donates 200 Million Won to Korean Red Cross

On December 23, NH Nonghyup Bank announced that it had donated 200 million won to the Korean Red Cross, launching humanitarian support for vulnerable groups in local communities, multicultural families, and neighbors affected by disasters.

The donated funds will be used for the Korean Red Cross's humanitarian activities, including support projects for vulnerable groups and multicultural families in local communities, as well as emergency relief efforts in the event of domestic and international disasters.

Since signing a 'social contribution partnership' agreement with the Korean Red Cross in 2018, Nonghyup Bank has been actively engaged in various social contribution activities, such as support for overcoming COVID-19, donating disaster relief meal vehicles, producing NH emergency relief kits, and organizing blood donation drives.

Choi Dongha, Senior Executive Vice President of Nonghyup Bank, stated, "I hope this donation will provide practical help to our marginalized neighbors," adding, "Nonghyup Bank will continue to coexist with local communities and fulfill its roles and responsibilities as a leading bank in environment, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives."
