Maximized Spatial Utilization with 15-Meter-High Ceilings
Solid Portfolio Including "Everything Will Come True"
Eugene Group affiliate Dongyang announced on the 24th that “Studio Euginea” has proven its competitiveness as an optimized venue for large-scale content production, as it was recently used as the filming location for the Netflix variety show “Black and White Chef 2.”
Studio Euginea also showcased a differentiated production environment during “Black and White Chef 1,” by implementing a large-scale set capable of accommodating 40 chefs cooking simultaneously. In particular, it is recognized for setting the standard as a filming location for large-scale cooking survival programs, thanks to its integrated utility system that allows flexible design and operation of essential water supply and drainage, gas, and electrical lines required for cooking shows.
The studio’s design, which incorporated professional expertise from the development stage, is also a key strength. Studio Euginea features a ceiling height of approximately 15 meters, maximizing spatial utilization. Even with complex facilities installed below, large sets can be constructed elevated above the ground, enabling three-dimensional camera work without angle restrictions. This has been evaluated as an environment optimized for video production that maximizes a sense of space.
Operational efficiency and accessibility are also outstanding. Located in Unjeong, Paju, Gyeonggi Province, Studio Euginea can be reached by car in less than 30 minutes from major broadcasting complexes such as the DMC in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. In addition, it is highly regarded by production teams for its optimal soundproofing and acoustic facilities, state-of-the-art air conditioning systems, and professional filming equipment such as motorized battens.
Following the success of “Black and White Chef,” Studio Euginea has been receiving numerous inquiries from variety and drama production companies that require large-scale sets and three-dimensional spatial production. In fact, it has built a diverse portfolio across genres, including the Netflix drama “Everything Will Come True,” tvN’s “I AM BOXER,” SBS’s “Legendary League,” TV Chosun’s “College Song Festival,” “Mr. Lotto,” and “Tuesday Night Is Good,” solidifying its status as a specialized studio.
A Dongyang representative stated, “From the planning stage, Studio Euginea focused on realizing ‘multi-infrastructure’ capable of accommodating a variety of genres, including large-scale survival variety shows, dramas, and music videos,” adding, “We plan to continue leading the domestic content production infrastructure market based on our specialized production environment and operational expertise.”
