KB Kookmin Bank Provides Winter Clothing to Vulnerable Children and Adolescents

Support Provided to 104 Children Nationwide

On the 23rd, KB Kookmin Bank held a delivery ceremony at the Saenal Regional Children's Center in Gwangjin, Seoul, to provide winter clothing to children and adolescents from vulnerable groups during the winter season.

This support activity, under the concept of "A Gift to Myself for Growing This Year," is a social contribution initiative that offers winter clothing to 104 children and adolescents across 88 regions nationwide, helping them spend the cold winter more warmly.

The recipients of the winter clothing were selected by collecting stories submitted through social welfare facilities nationwide. The selection was made after comprehensively considering the urgency of winter protection, the living conditions of the children, and the caregiving situation at home based on the application details. The selected children and adolescents will be able to choose winter clothing that suits their individual needs and preferences.

In particular, this project was designed so that children and adolescents can select clothing tailored to their age and needs, rather than receiving standardized items.

A representative from KB Kookmin Bank stated, "We hope that this winter clothing support not only gives children a warm winter, but also provides an opportunity for them to reflect on their growth over the past year and encourage themselves. We will continue our social contribution activities to support the healthy growth of children, based on the values of care and inclusion."
