A Total of 5 Million Won Awarded, 1 Million Won Per Student
The Gyeongmok Scholarship Foundation, led by Chairman Ahn Sangho, held the "Gyeongmok Scholarship Foundation General Meeting and Scholarship Award Ceremony" on the 5th floor banquet hall of Gukje Food Yangjeong Branch on December 22.
During the event, scholarships totaling 5 million won were awarded to five students: Kim Kahyun from the Department of Digital Contents at Dong-Eui University, Son Jihun from the Department of Management Information Systems at Dong-A University, Lee Gyuri from the Department of Business Administration at Yonsei University, Jeon Minsu from the Department of Sports Science at Ulsan University, and Lee Nayeon from the Department of Business Administration at Inha University.
The Gyeongmok Scholarship Foundation was established in 2012 and now has more than 28 members from academia, industry, and various other sectors who share its vision. Following the inaugural chairman, Lee Hyeongmok, Ahn Sangho has served as the second chairman since 2025, leading the foundation.
The foundation selects students each year who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and exceptional potential, providing them with scholarships. Since its establishment, it has awarded scholarships to more than 100 students to date.
Chairman Ahn Sangho stated, "We will continue to support students so that they can focus on their studies and fully realize their dreams," adding, "We will strive to ensure that the foundation contributes, even in a small way, to nurturing the talented individuals who will lead our future society."
