Chaired by Deputy Mayor Kim Jeongil, the meeting was attended by 10 committee members, including child welfare experts. Staff members responsible for fieldwork, such as child integrated case managers, also participated to share the main achievements of this year's customized integrated services and to engage in in-depth discussions on the direction of the 2026 project.
In particular, the committee members analyzed the effectiveness of the customized programs implemented this year and provided practical advice for next year's project plans based on their expertise in various fields. The meeting also placed significant emphasis on ways to enhance the efficiency of on-site case management, such as activating the linkage of local resources.
A city official stated, "This operation committee meeting was a meaningful opportunity to review the achievements of the 2025 projects and to further develop the plans for 2026. We will actively incorporate the valuable opinions of experts and serve as a strong support so that children from vulnerable groups can grow into healthy members of society."
Meanwhile, Yangju City's Dream Start program provides customized integrated services for children aged 12 and under (elementary school students), and plans to continue offering ongoing support to ensure that all children can grow up equally and in a balanced way from a fair starting line.
