Jeonju City Newly Designates All Kids 365 Pediatric Clinic as "Dalbit Children's Hospital"

"Minimizing Gaps in Care and Addressing Regional Imbalances"

Jeonju City in North Jeolla Province has newly designated All Kids 365 Pediatric Clinic, located in Songcheon-dong, Deokjin-gu, as a Dalbit Children's Hospital.

According to the city on December 23, a "Dalbit Children's Hospital" is a medical facility that provides outpatient services for children with mild symptoms not only in the emergency room but also during weekday nights and on holidays (Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays).

The designation and operation of these hospitals aim to improve access to medical care for children with mild symptoms through local clinics, while also reducing the inconvenience and cost burden associated with emergency room visits.

This expansion of designated hospitals comes after the previous Dalbit Children's Hospital operator in Deokjin-gu had its designation canceled last month due to a shortage of pediatric medical staff. In response, the city newly designated a pediatric medical institution in Deokjin-gu as a Dalbit Children's Hospital to minimize gaps in care and address regional imbalances.

The newly designated Dalbit Children's Hospital, All Kids 365 Pediatric Clinic, offers consultations from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

Currently, there are three Dalbit Children's Hospitals operating in Jeonju: Jeonju Dasol Children's Hospital, Haemalgeun Union Pediatric Clinic, and All Kids 365 Pediatric Clinic. The city expects that the addition of this new Dalbit Children's Hospital will enhance access to medical care for guardians and help safeguard children's right to health.

Since 2017, the city has been designating Dalbit Children's Hospitals and has actively supported the ongoing participation and stable operation of local pediatric medical institutions. As of this year, these participating hospitals have recorded a total of 37,000 consultations.

Kim Sinsun, Director of Jeonju City Public Health Center, stated, "With the new designation of a Dalbit Children's Hospital, we have created an environment where children can receive medical care safely at any time," adding, "We will continue our efforts to establish a child-friendly healthcare system."
