"Too Long Ago to Remember... No Personal Relationship"
Singer Hong Jin-young clarified that she has no personal relationship with Ms. A, also known as "Injection Aunt," who is suspected of providing illegal medical services, after a photo of the two together was released.
On December 23, Hong Jin-young's agency, IMH Entertainment, stated, "We believe the photo released yesterday was taken during the promotion of 'Boogie Man,' after 'Love Battery.' Judging by the years, it is presumed to have been taken about 12 years ago at a hospital."

The agency added, "Hong Jin-young said that the photo was taken so long ago that she has no recollection of Ms. A, who appears in the photo with her."
Hong Jin-young explained that, as a singer, she has taken numerous photos at various hospitals, brands, and with different products over the years due to sponsorship requests. She stated that the visit and photo shoot at the hospital in question happened so long ago that she does not remember it. The agency also emphasized, "The two are not connected on social media and do not have any personal relationship."
Previously, when rumors of a personal connection arose after Kang Min-kyung of Davichi appeared in Ms. A’s Instagram following list, she responded, "Due to the nature of social media, it is difficult to know exactly who is following my account," and clarified, "The concerns being raised have nothing to do with me."
In the entertainment industry, following broadcaster Park Narae, several stars including SHINee's Key and Eatzalbeun Haetnim suspended their activities after controversies erupted over having received illegal medical services from Ms. A, who does not have a medical license.
