The U.S. Navy's nuclear-powered submarine (SSN) has entered the Busan base.
According to the Navy on December 23, the USS Greenville (SSN-772, 6,900-ton class) arrived at the Busan Operations Base on this day. The purpose of the Greenville's visit to Busan is for logistical loading and crew rest.
The Navy stated, "With the arrival of the Greenville, we plan to enhance exchange and cooperation between the South Korean and U.S. navies and further strengthen the combined defense posture."
