125 "Christmas Happiness Boxes" Created with Cookies, Padded Jackets, Boots, and Portable Batteries
Voluntary Participation by the "Hana Love Volunteer Group" and the "Hana Financial Alumni Association" Consisting of Retired Employees
Hana Financial Group announced on the 23rd that it held a "Christmas Happiness Box Making" volunteer activity for children from vulnerable groups at its Myeong-dong headquarters on the 22nd to mark the end of 2025.
This volunteer activity was carried out with the voluntary participation of about 60 people from the "Hana Financial Alumni Association," which consists of retired employees of Hana Financial Group, and the group's main volunteer organization, the "Hana Love Volunteer Group." The participating employees prepared Christmas gifts for children with the spirit of "Hana," adding meaning to the act of sharing during the holiday season.
Notably, Hana Financial Group also included year-end support messages written by customers for children through the "Hana Tree Event," which was held for two weeks on the group's official Instagram account, in the "Christmas Happiness Boxes," delivering the warmth of customers to the children.
This year’s "Christmas Happiness Boxes" were filled with winter items such as boots and padded jackets, as well as wireless earphones, portable batteries, and other items that had been identified in advance as the children's wishes. In addition, Christmas cookies carefully made by group employees and retirees, along with handwritten letters, were also included. A total of 125 "Christmas Happiness Boxes," prepared by customers, employees, and retirees, will be delivered to 18 locations, including local children's centers and childcare facilities.
An employee who participated in the volunteer activity said, "I joined with the hope that the children will have a warm and happy Christmas," adding, "It was even more meaningful because we could deliver not only the cookies and letters we made ourselves, but also the support messages from our customers."
Meanwhile, Hana Financial Group continues to practice "finance that grows together and shares happiness" and carries out genuine ESG activities by consistently supporting children from vulnerable groups through various social contribution programs, such as cultural experience programs, new semester school supply support, and children's financial education classes.
