170 Community Leaders and Residents' Autonomy Committee Members Recognized for Advancing Local Development

Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Donghwan) announced on the 23rd that it held the "2025 Commendation Ceremony for Outstanding Community Leaders and Residents' Autonomy Promotion" on the 3rd floor of the Baekseok Annex at Goyang City Hall on the 22nd.

This ceremony was organized to express gratitude to community leaders and members of the residents' autonomy committees who have worked throughout the year for the betterment of their neighborhoods and the development of the local community.

A total of 170 individuals were selected to receive commendations for their contributions as community leaders and residents' autonomy members this year. Around 150 awardees and guests attended the event to celebrate the occasion.

A member of the residents' autonomy committee who attended the ceremony said, "I believe this award is a meaningful result of the collective efforts of all committee members who have worked together for the local community," adding, "I will continue to listen to the voices of residents and strive to create an even more vibrant residents' autonomy."
