Coloray Unveils New Product Lineup in Response to Pantone's 2026 Color of the Year "Cloud Dancer"

Coloray, a global specialist in pearl pigments, announced on the 22nd that it has unveiled a new silver white pigment product series in response to Pantone's 2026 Color of the Year, "Cloud Dancer."

This product line utilizes mica-based composite material technology and precision coating processes, enabling refined white-toned luster expressions. It offers high-purity solutions suitable for a wide range of applications, including cosmetics, packaging, and industrial design.

Pantone's "Cloud Dancer" is a soft white shade that evokes an airy and cozy feeling, emphasizing a static aesthetic and a sense of calm. In line with this trend, Coloray has developed a material implementation strategy centered on six product families, including Natural Silver White, Mutitanium Snow Velvet, Crystal High Purity, and Diamond High Purity.

The flagship Natural Silver White Series 1006C is based on natural mica substrates and achieves a soft, silky sheen through fine particle distribution. This makes it ideal for prestige color cosmetics and beauty packaging that seek a quiet and subtle texture. The Mutitanium Snow Velvet NT5100 Series employs a multi-layer coating method without titanium, infusing a subtle yellow tone into the low-chroma silver white shade to create a warm and gentle visual effect.

The Crystal Silver White 6106C and High Purity Series 6W60S are based on synthetic mica substrates, characterized by high transparency and color accuracy. When used in skincare and high-performance base makeup products, these lines provide long-lasting color stability and dispersibility. The Diamond Series 8100C and 8W60S are designed with structures that emphasize the dimensionality of reflected light, making them suitable for premium packaging and industrial coatings that require high-chroma sparkle effects and three-dimensional gloss.

A Coloray representative stated, "The Color of the Year not only reflects changes in color trends, but also embodies consumer sentiment and market demands," adding, "Through precise material design and technology-based application strategies, we can help enhance our customers' design expressiveness."

Coloray plans to continue developing high-performance pigment materials that respond to global color trends, while expanding technical cooperation with clients in various fields such as cosmetics, coatings, and industrial materials.
