Modetour announced on December 22 that it will launch the "Harbin Historical Theme Tour," which follows the winter attractions of Harbin and traces the footsteps of independence activist Ahn Jung-geun. [Today’s New Product] "Harbin Historical Theme Tour" ... "Tracing the Footsteps of Ahn Jung-geun"

This new product targets families traveling during the winter vacation season, aiming to strengthen the "content-based travel experience" by combining storytelling videos with travel. The goal is to allow children to directly see and feel historical sites they have only encountered in books, making it easier and more meaningful for them to understand history in depth.

The video delivers the historical significance of Harbin and its major sites through a narrative format. It features a journey following the sites of the independence movement and modern history, centering on the Harbin Railway Station Incident site and the Ahn Jung-geun Memorial Hall, as well as the Unit 731 historical site, creating a "history tour viewed as a documentary" concept. To increase versatility, the video has been produced in a full version of approximately 3 minutes and 30 seconds and a short version of about 20 seconds.

This special promotion offers a wide range of products, from air-tel packages to Modetour’s flagship premium brand "Mode Signature." Flights utilize direct round-trip routes between Incheon and Harbin operated by Asiana Airlines, Jeju Air, and China Southern Airlines. Travelers can choose between a 2-night, 3-day or a 3-night, 4-day itinerary, and various departure times are available by airline, enhancing reservation convenience for customers.

The flagship product is the "[Mode Signature] Harbin History Tour 3 Days." The package features a no-tip, no-shopping policy, accommodations at luxury hotels, and three special meals, further enhancing the quality of the trip. The main itinerary focuses on historical sites such as the Ahn Jung-geun Memorial Hall, Harbin Railway Station, and the Unit 731 historical site, while also including city attractions like Saint Sophia Cathedral, Central Avenue, and the Songhua River Railway Bridge. In particular, guests can directly experience the overwhelming ice and snow scenery and the fantastic night views of Harbin’s winter by attending the "Harbin Ice and Snow World," one of the world’s top three winter festivals.

Following this Harbin edition, Modetour plans to continue expanding its historical theme travel storytelling content. The next video, "Shanghai Provisional Government Edition," is currently in production and is scheduled to be released through Modetour’s official channels in January next year. A Modetour representative stated, "The production of this storytelling video is the foundation for expanding our content-based travel lineup and elevating the standard of customer experience," adding, "We will continue to expand our lineup of themed products that allow customers to experience both the meaning of historical journeys and the joy of travel."
