Kyungbok University Achieves Major Results in Community-Tailored Volunteering... "Ahae Dasom" Team Wins Grand Prize

Kyungbok University held the "2025 Local Community-Tailored Volunteer Activity Performance Sharing Meeting" at the International Conference Room of Wudang Hall on the Namyangju Campus on the 18th, where the results of student-led community volunteer activities conducted throughout the year were presented.

Fourteen teams that participated in local community-tailored volunteer activities attended the event and introduced a variety of projects, including talent donation for local seniors, emotional support programs for children, and activities to protect stray animals.

The "Ahae Dasom" team (Department of Early Childhood Education) received the grand prize for designing and operating a support program for raising children, focusing on addressing the issue of low birth rates in the local community.

This performance sharing event was part of the "Local Empathy 3C (Care·Career·Copilot) Model," a collaborative initiative between Kyungbok University and Namyangju City, and served as a practical example of linking university education with community contribution.
