[Weather Tomorrow] Rain in Most Regions Nationwide... Generally Mild

On Saturday, December 20, rain is forecast for most regions across the country.

Winter rain.

Rain is expected to begin in the central region, Jeolla region, and Jeju Island from early morning; in Gyeongnam and western Gyeongbuk from the morning; and in other parts of Gyeongbuk from the afternoon, with intermittent showers throughout the day.

The rain will gradually stop, starting from the central region in the late afternoon and across the country during the night. The expected rainfall is 5 to 20 mm for Jeju Island; 5 to 10 mm for the coastal areas of Jeonnam; around 5 mm for Gwangju, inland Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam; and less than 5 mm for Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, Chungbuk, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk.

Morning lows are forecast to range from -1 to 11 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will be between 8 and 19 degrees Celsius. After the rain stops, temperatures are expected to drop from the night, potentially causing icy roads, so caution is advised.

Fine dust concentrations are expected to be 'bad' in southern Gyeonggi, Sejong, Chungbuk, and Daegu, while other regions will see levels ranging from 'good' to 'moderate.' Waves on the sea will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters high in the East and South Seas, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters high in the West Sea.
