350 Specialized High School Students Invited to Headquarters on the 19th
Customized Education on Financial Basics and Fraud Prevention
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) is carrying out a project to enhance the financial capabilities of the next generation through youth education.
On the morning of the 19th, Busan Bank, together with the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education, invited about 350 students from specialized high schools to its headquarters. The youth financial education program, "BNK Exciting Finance Classroom," was held under the theme "Smart Money Management! Upgrading Financial Knowledge for Youth."
On the 19th, financial education was conducted for about 350 specialized high school students at the BNK Busan Bank headquarters.
This financial education program was designed to help young people, who are taking their first steps into society, develop sound financial consumption habits and prevent financial fraud. The curriculum focused on practical topics that can be applied in daily life, including types of savings, the deposit insurance system, comparison between saving and investing, essential financial products for young adults, and voice phishing prevention.
An experiential program was also conducted, allowing students to participate in a stock investment simulation using mobile devices. This hands-on approach enabled students to understand finance more easily and with greater interest. Through this experience, students naturally learned the concepts of saving and investing and had the opportunity to consider managing their own finances.
Bang Seongbin, President of Busan Bank, stated, "I hope this helps young people understand the basics of finance and design a sound financial life," adding, "We will continue to expand customized financial education for future generations."
On the 4th, Busan Bank, together with the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education, held the "BNK Exciting Finance School - Financial Education Content Production Support Ceremony" and began a full-scale cooperative project to strengthen the financial literacy of the next generation. The content produced will be gradually introduced, starting with local elementary schools in March 2026.
