This awards ceremony was organized at the end of the year to shine a spotlight on unsung contributors who have fulfilled their responsibilities and roles across the community, while reaffirming a commitment to sustainable regional development through cooperation and solidarity.
During the event, Assemblyman Kang Kyungtak received the "Korea Local Legislative Service Award," presented by the Council of Chairs of City, County, and District Councils of Korea, in recognition of his contributions to resident unity and the realization of grassroots democracy.

In addition, four public officials and council staff members recognized for their contributions to legislative development, as well as 14 residents recommended by the heads of each town and township, were also honored. These individuals have played vital roles in supporting the community across various fields, including administration, welfare, and local volunteer work.
Chairman Kang Younggu stated, "I extend my deepest gratitude and congratulations to all of today's award recipients," emphasizing, "The council will continue to work alongside residents to create a happier Yecheon through legislative activities that truly resonate with the community."
