Daegu Heesung Electronics Donates 100 Million Won for Year-End Neighbor Support: "Corporate Social Responsibility Matters More in Difficult Times"

Heesung Electronics Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Dohyun) participated in community sharing by donating 100 million won to the Daegu Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Shin Hongsik) on December 17, in celebration of the year-end season.

This donation will be used to support neighbors in need who are in the welfare blind spots during the year-end and New Year period. It is expected to provide practical assistance to vulnerable groups struggling with high inflation and high interest rates.

Since 2012, Heesung Electronics has continued to donate more than 100 million won annually to the Daegu Community Chest of Korea. This year, the company also donated 20 million won to support wildfire victims in the Yeongnam region and continued its year-end donation for neighbors in need, consistently practicing social contribution activities even amid challenging economic conditions.

In particular, the donations from Heesung Electronics are being widely utilized for various welfare programs, including support for low-income families in Dalseo District, self-reliance support for youth, and children at local children's centers.

CEO Jeong Dohyun stated, "I believe that a company's social responsibility becomes even more important during difficult economic times," and added, "I hope this donation will offer comfort and hope to neighbors in need, and we will continue to share with the community in the future."

Shin Hongsik, Chairman of the Daegu Community Chest of Korea, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I deeply appreciate Heesung Electronics for continuously practicing sharing, from supporting wildfire victims to donating year-end funds for neighbors in need," and added, "We will use the donated funds transparently and responsibly so that they can bring hope to those who need help the most."
