Each 'Hope Box,' valued at 50,000 won, is filled with 18 essential items, including food and basic necessities such as seaweed, laver, toothbrushes, toothpaste, canned tuna, instant noodles, rice cake soup rice cakes, and rice. The city plans to sequentially distribute these supplies to 500 low-income and vulnerable households in the area.

Earlier, on December 16, 17 cleaning service contractors responsible for household waste collection and transportation in various districts of Seongnam joined in this wave of giving. The 20 million won in donations, gathered by 583 employees, will be used to support neighbors in need within the city.

Each year, these cleaning service contractors set an example for the community by returning a portion of their profits to society through ongoing social contribution activities, such as donating daily necessities to the underprivileged and providing scholarships to children from single-parent families.

A Seongnam City official stated, "Despite the difficult times caused by the economic downturn, we deeply appreciate Geumgwang Church and the cleaning service contractors for their valuable acts of sharing."
