On December 19, Samsung Securities announced that it has newly introduced the 'My Pick' screen, which recommends investment content based on personal algorithms, to the home screen of its mobile trading system mPOP.
With 'My Pick', Samsung Securities moves away from the traditional approach where customers had to search for the investment information they needed, instead providing personalized content tailored to each individual.
The key feature is that customers are categorized using 64 different data points, including age group, product, interests, and investment preferences, allowing the company to deliver different content to each customer. This reduces the previous customer journey, which required navigating through multiple menus to find investment information, and enables users to instantly check 'investment insights tailored for me' directly from the mPOP home screen.
On the My Pick screen, users can view at a glance: ▲ a summary of recently viewed stocks and market trends ▲ today's investment information content ▲ the latest analyst research reports related to their holdings ▲ recent trading logs ▲ and a series of must-know investment information. This allows users to track market trends, review their own holdings, and check their personal buy and sell records, seamlessly connecting every step of the investment process.
Samsung Securities emphasized that this update represents an evolution from 'exploratory content' to an experience centered on 'customer-specific curation.' The company explained that, without having to worry about what to look at, customers can now access personalized content that reflects their investment patterns, asset composition, and changes in their holdings, greatly enhancing both accessibility and convenience in obtaining investment information.
A Samsung Securities representative said, "We will continue to advance our digital-based personalized services to provide customers with a more intuitive and efficient investment environment."
