Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Wins U.S. "GT Tested Awards"

On December 17 (local time), the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization received the "Fastest Developing MICE City" award for the second consecutive year at the "Global Traveler Tested Reader Survey Awards 2025," held in Miami, Florida, United States.

The "Global Tested Awards" is an annual ceremony organized by the premium U.S. business travel magazine "Global Traveler." Winners are selected in various categories such as airlines, hotels, and tourism services through reader votes. Notably, 43% of the magazine's readers are MICE planners or organizers, making it a globally influential and highly specialized travel publication.

A representative from the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization stated, "This award is significant because it recognizes Gyeonggi Province as a city that has created a new growth-oriented MICE model centered on experience, dedication, and strategy, going beyond just being a regional MICE hub." The representative added, "Based on this year's achievements, we will do our utmost to continuously enhance Gyeonggi Province's competitiveness in the global MICE market."

Last month, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization also received the "Outstanding Regional CVB (Convention & Visitors Bureau) Award" at the "2025 Korea MICE Awards," hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
