Deepnoid Receives Ministerial Commendation for Contributions to AI Advancement from Ministry of Science and ICT

Deepnoid, an artificial intelligence (AI) software development company, announced on December 19 that it received a commendation from the Minister of Science and ICT at the "2025 Inter-Ministerial Collaboration-Based AI Expansion Project Performance Report" held at the KW Convention Center in Daejeon on December 17.

Deepnoid was awarded the Ministerial Commendation for its contributions to the "Inter-Ministerial Collaboration-Based AI Expansion Project." This commendation is given to organizations and groups that have made significant contributions to national and social development and the promotion of public interest in the field. Deepnoid received the award in recognition of its efforts in nurturing AI professionals and advancing the AI industry.

The award ceremony was attended by Lee Jeongsun, Director of the Digital Society Planning Division at the Ministry of Science and ICT; Park Seoki, Director of the R&D Equipment Team at the Korea Customs Service; and Moon Jangwon, Head of the AI Utilization Headquarters at the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), who congratulated the award-winning companies on their achievements.

This year, Deepnoid received an "Excellent" rating in the final evaluation of the inter-ministerial collaboration support project. Selected as the lead institution for the project in 2023, Deepnoid has been developing an "AI Convergence Customs Clearance Image Management Solution" for three years.

Last month, Deepnoid also received the "Safety AX Innovation Award" from the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA). In addition, the company is leading AI technology collaborations to promote the public good, including the development and demonstration of an AI-based severe trauma full-cycle care system and a demonstration project for an AI application service that generates medical image interpretation reports based on a large-scale language model using a domestically produced NPU.
