ISO 37001 is an international standard in the field of anti-bribery that evaluates whether an internal control system is established and operated to prevent bribery risks and manage their likelihood. It comprehensively assesses whether an organization-level management framework and compliance system are effectively functioning to ensure adherence to laws and ethical standards.
Through this integrated certification, the Small Enterprise and Market Service has been officially recognized for systematically establishing and rigorously managing and operating a risk prevention system across all areas of anti-bribery and compliance.
In particular, efforts such as reflecting the promotion of integrity and ethical culture in organizational performance evaluations, identifying and controlling company-wide bribery-prone areas, and instilling a sense of integrity through employee training, received positive evaluations.
Chairman Park Sunghyo stated, "This integrated certification is the result of having our overall work operations externally reviewed and confirmed for transparency and accountability," adding, "We will continue to regularly inspect and improve our internal management system to proactively prevent any possibility of bribery or regulatory violations."
