CEO Jang noted, "AI technology is advancing at a remarkable pace, and significant changes are already taking place throughout our society." He added, "AI is not limited to a specific industry; it is accelerating innovation and boosting productivity across all sectors, including manufacturing, finance, healthcare, education, and public services."

The Asia Business Daily has discovered over 180 AI companies through its AI Revolution interview series. CEO Jang emphasized, "The AI Awards were established to encourage companies pioneering new markets and technologies in the field of artificial intelligence and to inspire them to achieve even greater success." He continued, "The more than 180 companies introduced so far have leveraged their technological capabilities to enhance their competitiveness not only in Korea but also in the global market."

He went on to say, "South Korea is advancing toward its goal of becoming one of the world’s top three AI powerhouses. The government and industry have joined forces to secure 260,000 cutting-edge graphics processing units (GPUs), achieving a significant milestone." He added, "Efforts are underway to build the infrastructure needed to lead as an AI powerhouse, and there is a strong push to integrate AI into everyday life so that all citizens can benefit from AI in their daily routines."

CEO Jang concluded, "This awards ceremony is especially meaningful as it is the first since the revival of the Deputy Prime Minister for Science and Technology system, which had been abolished in 2008 and has returned after 17 years." He added, "Once again, I sincerely congratulate all the executives and employees of the companies receiving awards today."
