'Web Award Korea' is the nation's most prestigious web evaluation awards ceremony, hosted by the Korea Internet Professionals Association, which selects the most innovative and outstanding websites.
The winners were determined through a comprehensive evaluation across 18 indicators in six categories: visual design, UI design, technology, content, service, and marketing.
This marks Hanam City's first award at this ceremony, achieved with its inaugural entry.
This achievement follows Hanam City’s recognition in the social media sector, having won the Grand Prize in the Facebook category at the '2025 Korea SNS Awards.' It is further evidence that Hanam City is implementing citizen-centered digital administrative services that encompass both social media and its official website.
The Hanam City official website is designed to allow citizens to conveniently access essential information for daily life and efficiently handle civil service work. The website focuses on providing a highly accessible user environment (UI/UX) and customized, demand-driven services.
In particular, the website’s core functions are intuitively categorized into four sections on the intro screen: ▲Problem-solving Benefits (Integrated Civil Service Application), ▲Information Benefits (Administrative Service Information), ▲Participation Benefits (Participation and Reservation Application), and ▲News Benefits (Latest City and District News). This approach has been highly praised for allowing users to easily identify and access the desired functions and information at a glance.
Additionally, the consistent application of the organization’s colors, fonts, and symbols maintains a sense of trust, while a simple and well-balanced layout maximizes readability and accessibility. This ensures that digital information services are inclusive, even for vulnerable groups.
A Hanam City official stated, "Our top priority is to provide the information and services that citizens need most from their perspective, so they can experience convenience and satisfaction," adding, "We will continue to expand digital conveniences that citizens can truly feel and further strengthen communication-based administration."
