In November, Yuyu Healthcare began construction of its second factory in Hoengseong County, which will have an annual production capacity of 20 billion won. Once the second factory is completed, enabling the company to secure production lines for a wider range of formats in response to the growth of the health functional food industry, Yuyu Healthcare will be able to produce a total of 70 billion won worth of health functional foods annually when combined with the existing first factory.

Recently, Yuyu Healthcare signed health functional food supply contracts with partners in the Philippines and Mongolia and is currently proceeding with local registration procedures. On December 3, the company was also selected as a Centennial Enterprise, recognized as a future leader of the Gangwon economy. The Centennial Enterprise program in Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province aims to discover and foster companies with more than 20 years of history that demonstrate outstanding management capabilities, technological innovation, and significant contributions to the regional economy, nurturing them to become leading enterprises representing not only Gangwon but also South Korea as a whole.
