On December 18, Withus Entertainment announced that Yoon Bomi (32) of the group Apink will marry composer Lado (real name Song Jooyoung, 41) in May next year.
On the same day, Yoon Bomi posted a handwritten letter on her fan cafe, stating, "After sharing our daily lives for a long time, through both joyful and difficult times, I have decided to spend my future with the person who has always been by my side." She added, "I will continue to live with a strong sense of responsibility and become even stronger."
The agency said, "Even after marriage, Yoon Bomi plans to continue her activities as a member of Apink, as well as her work as a singer, actress, and entertainer." They further added, "We will greet you with a more mature and responsible image."
Lado’s agency, High Up Entertainment, stated, "We ask for your warm blessings for their future together," and added, "After marriage, he will continue to focus on his music career as the chief producer."
The two have been in a relationship for about nine years since 2017.
Yoon Bomi debuted with Apink in 2011 and gained popularity with hit songs such as "NoNoNo," "I'm So Sick," and "Mr. Chu." She is currently hosting the SBS Plus and ENA variety show "I Am Solo: Love Continues." To celebrate their 15th anniversary, Apink will release their 11th mini-album "RE : LOVE" on January 5 next year.
Lado is the chief producer at High Up Entertainment and has composed songs for Sistar, Twice, and Chungha, as well as Apink's "Only One," "Hush," and "I'm So Sick."
