190 Million Connections Made Through Danggeun's Secondhand Trading This Year

Danggeun Releases "2025 Year-End Review" Data

The local community platform Danggeun announced on December 18 that it has released its "2025 Year-End Review" data, which captures the footsteps of neighbors throughout the year. Danggeun connects neighbors' daily lives through a variety of local services, including secondhand trading, neighborhood life, neighborhood walking, and Danggeun Alba (local part-time job listings).

190 Million Connections Made Through Danggeun's Secondhand Trading This Year

First, the number of connections made between neighbors through secondhand trading reached approximately 190 million transactions. The number of users who achieved a "Manner Temperature" of 99 degrees-a symbol of transaction trust-was recorded at 45,000. The categories with the most sharing activities this year were ▲furniture & interior ▲infants & children ▲living & kitchen, in that order. Items with relatively short usage cycles or those whose utility changes with life circumstances were efficiently reused among neighbors through sharing.

The number of interactions in the "Neighborhood Life" community section-including boards and gatherings, which help neighbors share information and build relationships-reached about 86 million, marking a 95% increase compared to the previous year. In particular, the number of users enjoying various hobbies with nearby neighbors through the "Gatherings" service has noticeably increased. Compared to the previous year, the cumulative number of gatherings rose by 63%, and the cumulative number of gathering participants increased by 125%, showing rapid expansion of exchanges among neighbors around shared interests such as running, reading, and exploring local restaurants.

People also walked more in their daily lives, naturally discovering hidden local shops and earning rewards along the way. Since the launch of the "Neighborhood Walking" beta service in July this year, the total number of steps recorded has reached 168 billion, which is equivalent to walking around the Earth approximately 2,940 times or making about 153 round trips between the Earth and the Moon, based on the average adult stride. This increase in walking not only broadens neighbors' experiences of exploring their neighborhoods but also brings more vitality to local businesses.

The region-based job matching service "Danggeun Alba" also continued its steady growth. Over the past year, the cumulative number of applications through Danggeun Alba exceeded 50 million.

Hwang Doyeon, CEO of Danggeun Market, stated, "This year-end review data is more than just a record of service achievements; it shows how neighbors are creating connections in their daily lives through Danggeun. Moving forward, Danggeun will continue to foster more meaningful connections in local life, based on its hyperlocal identity."
