Second Annual Event Held This Year
Featuring Performances, Exhibitions, and Mutual Respect Programs
Samsung Biologics announced on December 18 that it has successfully concluded its in-house club festival, which was held to promote a culture of mutual respect and strengthen communication among employees.
This year’s club festival, held for the second time, took place from December 10 to 17 at the company’s in-house welfare space, Harmoni Square. The event featured a variety of programs, including performances, open classes, exhibitions, and interactive events, creating an environment where employees could participate and interact broadly. In particular, participation was boosted by expanding opportunities for employees to experience open classes, which featured lectures by renowned instructors and former national athletes.

On December 10, the in-house cheerleading team performed, and a stretching open class was led by well-known instructor Kang Hana. The session was open to anyone interested, attracting many employees who relaxed and recharged by following simple movements.
On December 16, the in-house weightlifting club held a lecture and coaching program. Ham Sangil, a former member of the Korean national weightlifting team, was invited to coach exercises such as squats and provide professional feedback. On December 17, the in-house band and orchestra clubs took the stage, receiving enthusiastic responses from employees.
During the festival, an ongoing exhibition provided a platform for employees to share their diverse talents. The exhibition showcased works such as ceramics, fine art, and crochet, all created by employees. Promotional booths for club membership recruitment and surveys on establishing new clubs were also available throughout the event.
Programs aimed at fostering a culture of mutual respect also drew significant interest. Through the year-end “Thank You Postcard Writing” program, employees expressed their gratitude to colleagues they worked with throughout the year. At the Christmas photo zone, employees took photos together, wrapping up the year in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
In addition, Samsung Biologics continues to make various efforts to revitalize its organizational culture. In May, the company completed the renewal of Harmoni Square to expand its welfare space. Reverse mentoring, where new employees serve as mentors to executives to share experiences, is being conducted to promote horizontal communication within the company. Furthermore, Samsung Biologics has maintained its family-friendly company certification for ten consecutive years since 2015, underscoring its commitment to fostering a healthy organizational culture.
Lee Gyooho, Executive Vice President and Head of the People Center at Samsung Biologics, stated, “The club festival, held twice this year, has served as an opportunity to promote interaction among employees and establish a culture of positive communication. We will continue to strengthen our organizational culture and support employee growth through a variety of ongoing programs.”
