Shin Seungho, a 67-year-old resident of Nampyeong 1-gu in Nampyeong-eup, Naju City, donated 60 bags of 10kg rice (worth approximately 2.1 million won), totaling 600kg, to the Nampyeong-eup Administrative Welfare Center on December 15, to support vulnerable groups in the Nampyeong area.
At the donation ceremony, Mr. Shin stated, "I prepared this with the hope that our neighbors in the community can spend a warm winter."
The rice delivered on this day will be distributed to vulnerable households in Nampyeong-eup, including single-parent families, and will be used to support their livelihood during the winter season.
No Sangsoo, head of Nampyeong-eup, expressed his deep gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank Mr. Shin Seungho for donating rice that he worked so hard to cultivate to the local community. This donation will be a great support to neighbors in need."
Meanwhile, Mr. Shin also expressed his intention to continue sharing for the local community in the future and reaffirmed his commitment to promoting community welfare.
